The league started in 2012 with just 4 teams, we have since expanded .

The mission of the league is to provide a place to get out and play softball with your friends. The majority of the teams are decent softball players, if your team members are pros or winning the championship is really important to your team, this is the wrong league for you!

Games will be on Monday nights at 6:00pm or 7:15pm on the Halifax Commons. on fields #1, #2, #3, #4 and #10.

The key rules of the league are:

• Must have a minimum of 3 members of each gender on the field per inning;
• Cannot have more than 2 members of the same gender in a row in the batting order;
• 10 fielders while on defense;
• 5 run max per inning;
• Pitch to your own team; (3 pitches)
• No sliding;
• Safety base at 1st base and home plate;
• No umpire.

The league will run from May to September. (Approximately 16 games)
